Ronny Houben

At BvDIM

Ronny Houben is a consultant project manager at BvDIM. He joined the Bureau van Dijk in 1990 as a management consultant in charge of missions focused on econometrics and market research. He has conducted missions relating to the development of document management systems and archiving systems. He has carried out audits on the management and steering of services (monitoring of commercial information on new markets, design and implementation of a simulation model for the business plan of projects, strategic audit of organizations, economic studies with analyzes multi-criteria in the energy sector).

As a consultant project manager, he leads a team of librarians and analysts spread over 5 libraries in Europe. Responsible for the general coordination and monitoring of daily operations, he is in charge of project management in the field of information management and library services, definition and implementation of internal processes, optimization of the organization of tasks in the team, and quality control.

Professional background

Ronny Houben is of Dutch nationality. He holds a degree in applied economics obtained in 1990 from the Economische Hogeschool Sint-Aloysius in Brussels, an MBA obtained in 1993 from the Vrije Universiteit in Brussels and a degree in library and information science obtained in 2011 at the University of Antwerp.
